Workshops for young adults - Film it!
Free |19.10, 09.11., 23.11, 07.17, 18.01., 08.02. | DE | Haus der Kunst

Are you 14 years old and would you like to embark on a creative craft and tinkering trip to the Haus der Kunst? If so, join us and bring your friends, too!

FILM IT! Make your own art film!

A visit to the exhibition Generations. Part 2 takes you an unusual journey of discovery, for it is presented in the former air-raid shelter of Haus der Kunst. The show features films by women artists from the Sammlung Goetz; these filmmakers use their medium to explore and stage the female body. Although television, the internet and social media are full of such images, these artists are interested in the presentation of the body from a different perspective. They use traditional and computer animation and materials like putty, as well as psychedelic images and close ups and even experiment with sound.

Would you like to make your own art film? Be inspired by the artists and their creative videos and become a director! With the help of light, shadow, sound, different objects and your body, you will create an art film using your smartphone! Sign up for our current youth workshop at Haus der Kunst – and then share your film on the social media using the hashtags #sammlunggoetzteens and #sammlunggoetzHDK and exchange ideas with other young artists.
