Art in Real Time Media Art Award 2026 for Ilinca Fechete

The Kunststiftung Ingvild und Stephan Goetz’s Media Art Award 2026 has been awarded to Ilinca Fechete, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts Munich. With her project After Inertia (working title), the artist will create an installation and a web-based artwork that explores how digital technologies influence our perception of space, movement, and orientation. The Media Art Award is endowed with €5,000 and includes an exhibition of the finished work at the AkademieGalerie in September 2026.
