Walkshops: Architektur und Kunst
15.10.19, 5-7 PM | DE | two-hour Walkshops

A cooperation of the Sammlung Goetz, FILOMELE and guiding architects munich

Parallel to our current exhibitions, with the cooperation series ARCHITEKTUR und KUNST visitors have the possibility of becoming acquainted with the symbiotic interaction between architecture and art through guided tours.

ARCHITEKTUR und KUNST are two closely linked disciplines. They are not only determined by the respective prevailing zeitgeist, but they also shape these. Ideally, both disciplines combine to form an overall concept and image. For example, in the Sammlung Goetz: here, art not only fills the building’s interior, but the structure’s architecture serves the art, highlighting it without being subordinate to it. The interplay of the two disciplines constitute a wonderful symbiosis.

In two-hour "walkshops", we visit notable art venues and examine these in the context of ARCHITEKTUR und KUNST; during the tours, guides explain both the architecture of the structures and the art they house. Each tour addresses a specific theme.

Tours usually begin or end in the Sammlung Goetz. Please confirm tour information before its scheduled begin.
