Curator Tour

With the exhibition Pleasure Beach, the Sammlung Goetz shows a selection of videos and installations by artists who focus on club culture from the 1980s to the 2000s. The focus is not only on the change of different music styles, dance styles and fashions, but also on questions of sexuality, gender and identity. Cornelia Gockel, curator of the exhibition, reports on the background to the unusual collaborative project and explains how the artistic works were created.
