Screening specials for Christmas and New Year's Eve

The Sammlung Goetz’s Screening Specials offer excitement, eroticism and perspective. During the holiday season, it will transform its website into a movie screen and show two full-length films from its collection. The viewings begin on 25 December with Three (1996-1999) by Isaac Julien, the story of a love triangle between two women and a man. In the film, the British artist interweaves the complex web of relationships in a surreal dance performance. Aptly presented on 31 December, the eve of the new year, is The Man with the Bag (2004) by Sebastián Diaz Morales. The film by the Argentinian artist tells a decidedly poetic story about how we drag memories from our past through our lives; while these provide us with roots, they ultimately also prevent us from breaking new ground.
