The diverse educational program at the Sammlung Goetz offers children and young adults a playful and creative way to approach contemporary art. The workshops are based on the current exhibition program. They are supported by the Ingvild and Stephan Goetz Art Foundation and realized in cooperation with the FILOMELE art agency.

The schedule of our current workshop program can be found in the event calendar.

In order to ensure that the workshop runs smoothly, we ask participants to gather in the museum’s foyer ten minutes before the workshop begins.

We feature the following workshop formats:

Sammlung Goetz Kids

Arts and crafts workshops for children

We invite children between the ages of 6 and 13 to take a creative craft trip to the Sammlung Goetz. In the free children’s workshops, our little visitors can show their creative side and be inspired by grown up artists!

Sammlung Goetz Teens

Media workshops for young adults

Our media workshops are conducted in cooperation with Haus der Kunst. They are designed for young adults 14 and older and are based on media works from the Sammlung Goetz, which are presented in changing exhibitions in the former air-raid shelter of Haus der Kunst. During a tour of the exhibition, participants gain the inspiration they need to create their own art films, which they then shoot in our studio using their smartphones.

Integrative workshops for school and special needs classes

Our workshops can also be booked as integrative workshops for school and special needs classes and are free of charge in certain cases. With this offer we aim to provide access to works in the Sammlung Goetz and the artists who created them, as well as to awaken the creativity of our workshop participants.
