Sammlung Goetz has long collected my work in the broadest sense of the word: from installations to sculptures, from drawings and watercolours to video works. This breadth and completeness of a collector's insightful interest was such a mental support to me: being recognised and understood throughout my research and exploration gave me the feeling that I could come home with my exhibition at the Sammlung Goetz.

I was invited to make a choice from my work from the collection and, where necessary to creating a stronger whole, supplement it with a few others. The serene and intimate scale of the museum and the calm and admirable integrity of Ms. Goetz as the driving force behind the collection made the exhibition a personal event to me, like a conversation between friends that, by extension, became a quiet conversation with the spectator.
